DPD Courier: £5.95
Free Delivery on Orders Over £35: via Royal Mail Tracked 48. If you prefer DPD, you can upgrade for £2.
We aim to dispatch orders within 1-3 business days. Royal Mail Tracked 48 typically delivers in 2 working days. For larger orders, courier services may be used and tracking information will be provided.
Special Delivery Instructions: Please add any requests during checkout. Please note, if you leave instructions directly with the courier (e.g., safe place or neighbour), you assume full responsibility for any issues that may arise. Examples include parcels being lost, stolen or damaged. While we’ll do our best to assist with resolving problems, we cannot accept liability for deliveries marked as complete under these circumstances. We’ll do our best to resolve any issues that arise.
We’re proud to offer free local delivery for orders over £20 (from January 2025) to eligible postcodes around Whitehaven, Egremont, Frizington and Cleator Moor. On Fridays, we also deliver to Workington and Cockermouth. If your chosen delivery day is unavailable, it means slots are full. Please select another day or consider collecting from our workshop in Cleator Moor instead. If you’re unsure about eligibility, please get in touch.

Important:
A delivery date must be selected for local orders to ensure accurate booking.
Deliveries to safe places or neighbours are at your own risk. By choosing this option, you agree to accept full responsibility for any potential issues, such as parcels being lost, stolen or damaged. Lakeland Lights cannot offer compensation or replacements for such instances. However, we provide proof of delivery via a photo for parcels left in safe places to help confirm successful delivery.
If you place an order using our Local Delivery service for an address that is not eligible, we will contact you to arrange payment for postage or offer a refund.
Please note: if your postcode is eligible for local delivery, you must select the "Free Local Delivery" option in your cart and choose a delivery date. Orders incorrectly placed under "Nationwide Delivery" that show eligibility for local delivery will prompt a message. You must return to your cart, select "Free Local Delivery," and book a date to ensure your order is processed correctly. We reserve the right to cancel any orders placed for ineligible addresses or delivery options.
You can collect your order in person from our Cleator Moor workshop, Monday to Friday, 10am-4pm.
How It Works:

Choose a collection day and timeslot.
This option is only available for customers who can visit our workshop. Ineligible orders will be cancelled and refunded.
We ship internationally using Royal Mail International Standard. Rates vary by weight, and delivery times depend on location. Contact us before ordering to confirm shipping costs. Any customs or handling fees are the buyer's responsibility.
Due to the EU’s General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) 2023/988, effective from 13 December 2024, we are currently unable to ship to Northern Ireland. We are exploring options to appoint a representative to facilitate future shipments to Northern Ireland and the EU.
